Baltimore Evening Sun (17 April 1912): 6.
THE FREE LANCE
Farewell, dear hearts, for a short space. Elected a delegate from Baltimore to the coming world’s congress of anti-vivisectionists, perunists and malicious animal magnetizers to be held at Munich, Bavaria, April 26 to 30, I shall be on my way to that damp but salubrious city before these lines are embalmed in type. But like my great and good friend, Hon. William H. Anderson, I entertain a fond (if, perhaps, somewhat fatuous) hope of coming back.
